Notice

CTA web services will be intermittently down Wednesday, March 11, 2026, between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. (ET) for preventive maintenance. This ensures the ongoing protection of the CTA data and systems.

If you are planning on submitting an Air travel complaint form online, we recommend doing so before or after this time period. If you choose to submit a form during the server maintenance period, there's a risk that the information may not be received properly. Please note that you will receive an email confirmation if your form is submitted successfully.

Did you file a claim with an airline and are unsatisfied with the outcome?

The Canadian Transportation Agency’s air travel complaint resolution office reviews complaints, settling disputes between passengers and airlines. This section provides information about the Agency’s process, how to file your complaint with the Agency, and required documentation, as well as answers to frequently asked questions.

How to make an air travel complaint with the Agency

If you booked a Sunwing vacation package on or after May 29, 2025

Please note that effective May 29, 2025, Sunwing Vacations flights are operated by WestJet Airlines.

Passengers submitting complaints about their Sunwing Vacation flight disruption are asked to review their documents and ensure they file complaints with WestJet, rather than the tour operator (Sunwing).

Once steps 1–3 are complete, you can fill out and submit the air travel complaint form to the Canadian Transportation Agency.
